Tyler Andrew Elliott

On August 18th, 2022 Tyler Andrew Elliott of Belton, Missouri passed away at the age of 52 in his sleep while on the road supporting a local emergency manager workshop. Tyler worked for FEMA from 2011 to the present. He was a qualified facilities manager and during his time with FEMA he was deployed to over 20 disaster operations in all four region 7 states, plus deployment of hurricanes Marie, Ida and Florence. He was currently working in the region 7 warehouse located in Kansas City, Missouri and was instrumental to ensuring the disaster support kits were fully mission capable for all four states. He was the epitome of customer service and always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved being the go to guy and he was beloved by all his fellow FEMA employees. Tyler married Debra Elliott February 12th, 1994. He took in three step children Jeanine Weaver, Addison Emanuel and Misty Grable and they had two children of their own. Spencer Elliott and Noah Elliott. Tyler was a wonderful man who loved his family very much. He never missed an opportunity to give car rides, attend sporting events and of course his favorite, taking his children fishing. He loved football and baseball and knew every stat that was affiliated with sports. He loved old western movies and anything involving history and past wars. He spent countless hours cooking food for his grand babies and spoiling them with movie nights and slumber parties. He gave the best hugs and loved with his whole heart. He will be missed by so many! Tyler was preceded in death by his son Spencer Elliott and his wife Debra Elliott. His parents Jimmy and Judith Elliott and his grandparents Reginald (Buster) Randall and Wilma Randall. Tyler is survived by his sons Noah Elliott of Peculiar, Missouri and Addison Emanuel (Kali Davis) of Lees Summit, Missouri and his daughters Jeanine Weaver (John Weaver) of Lees Summit, Missouri and Misty Grable (David Grable) of Raymore, Missouri. His grandchildren, Chase Gaunt, Lawson Emanuel, Pryor Grable and Vivian Grable. His three brothers Bruce Elliott (Karen Elliott) of Raymore, Missouri. Brian Elliott (Katie Elliott) of Raymore, Missouri. Tim Elliott (Robin Elliott) of Raymore, Missouri. Two nephews, Kyle Elliott and Jacob Elliott and two nieces, Morgan Elliott and Jacquelyn Elliott. A celebration of life will be held for Tyler on October 2nd from 1-3pm at Belton Memorial Station. 602 Maurer Parkway, Belton Missouri 64012.
