Sean M. Miller

Sean Michael Miller was born July 8, 1985, a twin and the youngest of four boys. Sean showed his compassion from a young age, constantly mediating his brothers’ arguments and never choosing a side between Cowboys and Indians. Growing up Sean enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing football, and endless games of whiffle ball on the family cul-de-sac. Sean loved his job at Pizza Shoppe and spent countless hours there with coworkers who became close friends. Sean never turned down a chance to sing karaoke- Hank Williams was his favorite. Sean was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan and attended games whenever he could. His friends and family all benefited from his culinary skills, especially his smoked ribs and Thanksgiving feast. A dedicated family member, Sean celebrated everybody’s milestones and helped care for his grandma. He was a repeat winner at the family’s annual horse shoe competition! A favorite memory is attending the Metallica concert with his brothers and best friends less than two days before he left this world. Those who love Sean remember how he always stood up for the underdog and never judged a single soul. But mostly, they remember his laugh. Sean had a deep, contagious belly laugh that filled any room and made everyone smile. The world is less joyful without it. Everyone loved Sean, and Sean loved everyone. Sean was preceded in death by his grandfather Paul and grandmother Anna Marie. Sean is survived by his grandmother Cathy, grandfather Troy and grandmother Ann, mother Laura, father Les, brothers Steve and Mark (Jayme), twin and partner in crime Chris, five nieces and nephews, and countless cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends he cherished. The family is planning an open house style, come as you are Celebration of Life on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 12:00pm-3:00pm. The Celebration will take place at North Heartland Community Church-4800 NW 88th Street KCMO 64154 All are welcome. In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to KC Hospice.
