Robert Carl Legg On November 23, 2022 Robert Carl Legg (60) left this world and into the loving arms of his Mother and Father Doris & Marvin Legg. Robert was born September 18,1962 the youngest of four children, Sherry (Stephen), Marvin, & Shelia. Robert grew up moving between Missouri and California. He often told the story of growing up just below the mountains in California, and how magical it was to be standing in the warm sun, while it snowed on the mountains. He always found the magic in life. He was a talented and curious man, who enjoyed playing guitars, building and shooting guns, listening to music, reading on ancient history and talking for hours about anything and everything, especially the philosophical. Robert was an extremely hard worker, throughout his life he had many jobs; selling cars with his father, construction down in Texas, bartending, cowboying in the midwest with his great friend, and driving trucks. Driving a truck for Robert was the ultimate freedom, and he loved to travel and meet new people. During his time on the road he got into a tragic car accident which resulted in him being wheelchair bound for the remainder of his time with us. That did not stop Rob. After his accident Rob went on to marry his wife Catherine (Kitten as he called her) Legg who he cherished. Robert and Catherine owned a home and created a beautiful life of true love and happiness. Robert even ran a few small businesses. Robert was a believer of many things, he believed in love, honesty, loyalty and respect. He loved as hard as he was loved. Robert is survived by his children Anna, Sierra (Josh), Sunshine, Sandy (Jimmy), Wendy (Peter), Bubba (Jared) & Brandy. His grandchildren Tatiana, Levi, Sophia, Zemirah, Gavin, Briana, Austyn, Walker, Paige, Dylan, Kayla, and his great granddaughter Paisleah. Robert also is survived by his nieces and nephews David, Alexis, Brandy, Crystal, Buddy, Amy, Angela, Bobby and Joey. Robert is preceded in death by his Aunt Babe and Uncle Elmer of Cameron Missouri as well as Peter and Wendys son Colin. Robert was referred to by many names; Rob, Bob, Bobbo, Sdad (Lord Master High Ruler of the Universe, Keeper of all good and evil) and his self proclaimed title Bobbo King of the Lizard people. Rob’s sense of humor was second to none. Robert was a hero to those that loved him, he was an amazing man and ever so wise. In his old age he looked like a wizard, with his long hair and piercing blue eyes. Robert would want those who knew him to remember him smiling, playing guitar and telling stories, and to always remember he is “so close no matter how far”.
