Michael Scott Fee

Michael Scott Fee, the underground hip-hop artist, better known as Scotty Fee, or Mesafee, lost his battle with congestive heart failure, due to complications of muscular dystrophy on November 14th 11:45pm. He was 23 years old. He was survived by his parents, Chanelle Johnson of Kansas City, Ks, and Michael Allen Fee of Oak Grove, Mo. Two older sisters Anastasia Johnson 28, and Elizabeth Fee 26, and one older brother Joshua Fee 25, caretaker, and best friend. Step-parents/Co-parents & siblings; Step-mother Janet Keeton of Oak Grove, Mo. brother Zach Keeton 21, sister Casi Lang, niece Olivia Keeton 3 months, brother Jake Keeton 29. * Step-father Shawn Fisher-Graves Chillicothe, Mo., brother James Graves 24; James wife Samantha Graves 30 and their three children; Patience 6 months, Phoebe 4 years and Payton 7. All of Albany Or. Sister Jennifer Graves 22, her significant other Jacob William Wayne Sprague 22, and their son Owen Sprague, 2 years. Scotty Fee was known best for his amazingly positive advice, and encouragement, and love for his family and friends, having a smile on his face and love in his heart. His rap music was heartfelt, and about real things in his life that touched people and made them think. His love of music led him to hip-hop and rap in middle school, and with hard work and support from friends and family, by graduation he was on his way to the top. Charming, talented, kind, and true he would tell you exactly what he thought at any given time, even if it hurt. All the while letting you know he loved you. These are all the qualities that make a star. Scotty left his mark on anyone he came into contact with, there is no doubt, none of us will ever be the same. The Kansas City underground hip-hop community is mourning the loss of an amazing young artist. His family is mourning the loss of a charming, charismatic, sweet young man, that always could get them to laugh, if not at the bright side, then giggle at the stupidity of it all. There is a huge hole in the heart of Kansas City today, fill it with love, light, and SONG!
