Lois Maxine Cain

Lois M. Cain, 82, of Liberty, Mo passed away March 2nd at Liberty Hospital surrounded by family. Visitation will be 5:30 pm to 7 pm Thursday, March 8th and a memorial service will follow at 7 pm at the Rock of KC, 12750 N. Winan Road, Kansas City, Mo 64163. Lois was born January 22, 1936 in Wellington, Mo to Velma & Wilburn Juede. She spent all of her life in Missouri. She was a seamstress and a nanny. She loved children and especially babies and she has been described as “childlike at heart” herself. If there was a baby in the room, she would be holding and loving on it before the night was over! She was happy go lucky most of the time and one that people enjoyed teasing. She was a sweet soul who made everyone she came in contact with feel loved! She was very proud of her children and adored her grandchildren. She could never get enough of them. She loved to sew, make quilts and crochet. She would spend hours looking through her quilt books, cutting out quilt pieces and sewing on her quilts. She could crochet about anything and many times wouldn’t even need a pattern. She would make table cloths, doilies and angels and she made it look so easy! She also loved to fish and was in heaven when someone would take her fishing. She shared her love of fishing with her grandchildren as well. She would show them how to bait the hook, cast the line and then clean the fish afterward. She always loved working on jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She loved to play games and always was up for a game of bingo while in the nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma Campbell & WIlburn Juede, brother, Kenneth Juede, brother, Donnie Campbell, sister, Pearl Anhorn. She is survived by her husband, Willard Cain, son, Russ Schworer of Parkville, MO, daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie & Lynn Rickel of Liberty, MO, grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Jessica, Nic, Jacob, Nicole and Matthew, sister, Betty Shaw of Lexington, sister, Debbie (Ed) Rogers of Independence, MO, brother, Arthur Lee Juede, brother, Harvey Campbell and sister, Shirley Clevenger. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arm around you and whispered, “Come with Me.” With tearful eyes we watch you slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we would not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your hard-working hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. You are dearly loved and will be greatly missed!
