Stephen Leo Craig

July 24, 1947 - November 28, 2019

Stephen Leo Craig was born on July 24, 1947 and passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Stephen, also known as Steve, was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and nephew. He is survived by his beloved wife Kay (Maness) Craig of 45 years; his loving children, Carie and Vinnie Selemaea; Stephenie and Bob Foster; Stephen and Amy Craig; and his adoring grandchildren Lindsey, Tyler, Trae, Michaela, Jackson, Haylen, and Zander; and a great grandfather to Denver and Kele. Steve was a health inspector for The City of Independence; where he served his community for 20 years and has been retired for the past 15 years. Steve was a Navy Veteran and was always proud To have served his country. In his free time, he loved to spend time with his family, taking vacations with Kay, and making everyone around him smile. He will forever be missed and loved by so many. All friends and family are welcome to join us for Steve’s Celebration Of Life will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mike Onka Memorial Hall. The celebration will begin at 2:30 and end at 4:30. Full military honors will be presented at 4:15pm. Mike Onka Memorial Hall address: 11520 Putnam St. Sugar Creek, MO 64054.
