Ronald Lee Hammond

Ronald Lee Hammond, age 72, of Kansas City, MO was born on April 3,1950 to the union of the late Reverend Loren Dale Hammond Sr. and Johnnie J. Mitchell Hammond. He departed this life on November 16, 2021 Ronald and Diane Jones were united in Holy Matrimony on March 13, 1998 and she preceded him in death. He is preceded in death by his sisters Katrina Marie "Cookie" Hammond Robertson and Lorriane Lanette Jackson Williams, and brothers Loren Dale Hammond and Terrance Lee Hammond. In his younger years, Ronald spent much of his time caring for others in the nursing homes and giving his talents to his church family. In his later years he also gave his time and talents to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family is where his heart is. He leaves, to cherish his memory; his beloved mother, Johnnie J. Kelley, his eldest daughter Bernadette Michelle Yeakey, her two children, daughter Ceairra Renee Yeakey with four sons, Kristopher Lee Jackson Whitmire, Demarcus Andrew Jackson, Julian Tyrell Jackson, Carlos Pierre Yeakey, and son Robert Jason Yeakey (Jevvika) with three daughters, Samai'a Marie Yeakey, Jae'la Niellia Nekidri' Yeakey, Sharina Leandra Nicole Yeakey. Second daughter Sabrina Juel Hawkins (Jimmy) and her two daughters Cera Elizabeth Juel Hawkins, and Jesika Mae Juel Hawkins. His third daughter, Nitisha Louetta Diane Thurman and her four daughters Nydaisha Shanelle Imani Thurman, Saliyah Neveah Thurman, Saniya Grace Thurman, and Maya Hope Thurman. And his son Ronald Lee Hammond II and his two children, daughter Mikayla Cee Jazmin Hammond, and son, Xavien Leron Hammond. Also his sisters Yolanda Rene' Ray, Pam Whitmire and brother Darrell Keith Hammond (Lakeeta) and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
