Ralph D. Davis III

June 14, 1954 - March 29, 2022

Ralph D. Davis, III, age 67, of Independence, MO, passed into the eternal arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Ralph, affectionately known as Deadeye, was born on June 14, 1954 in Oxford, MA to Ralph and Mary(Witt) Davis. He moved to Missouri circa 1992, where he quickly met and married Tina May Queen. He stepped into the father role with Tina’s two children, Aaron and Rachel, where he took on the title of Dad. Ralph had a passion for fishing, and in his later years, hunting. While he didn’t serve, he was a champion for, and huge supporter of our military and fallen soldiers. He was known for his support of POW-MIA, and other Veteran groups, and frequented the local VFW, where he joined the Auxiliary. He was also an 8 year member of Freedom of Road Riders (FORR), advocating for motorcyclists rights, safety and education, where he held the sergeant-at-arms title, and was a Committee Representative He found a passion for the blues, and could often be found jammin out at his home bar or at Knuckleheads with friends to some of his favorites like Samantha Fish or Eric Clapton. If he wasn’t listening to music, he could be found in his green house with his cherished plants. Ralph is survived by his children, Aaron Queen and Rachel Malena(Dominic), granddaughter Alexandra Malena, grandsons Matthew Lockhart, Damon Queen, and Braxton Malena, two great grandchildren, as well as his sister and brother-in-law Deb and Bob Parmenter, Brother Stephen(Frenchie)Davis, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his wife, Tina. Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at VFW -Kelsey Hall, 12810 E Kentucky Rd, Independence, MO 64050. Visitation will be from 1pm-2pm, and the Memorial Service will directly follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a local charity for veterans
