Lisa Lynne Basham Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lisa Lynne Basham (Williams; Munsterman) was born on November 26, 1959 and passed away in North Kansas City, MO on April 4, 2020 at the age of 60. Over the past few years, Lisa stubbornly battled breast cancer with grace and her usual humor. Lisa graduated from Raytown High School and then graduated from the University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University). She then taught for several years across the Kansas City Metro Area. Lisa always thought of herself as a biologist and saw everything through the lens of a scientist. She raised her family in Parkville, MO and resided in the Northland most of her adult life. Lisa leaves behind her two children, Chapman W. Williams and Carson D. Williams, her mother, Marilyn L. Munsterman, her father, Donald V. Munsterman (Kim), her sister, Laurie M. Ullrich (Edward), her nieces, Carolyn A. Ullrich and Emily M. Ullrich, and her grand-niece, Mayleigh K. McCoy. Lisa also leaves an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss her tremendously. A celebration of her life will happen when appropriate gatherings can occur again. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that contributions be made to the Raytown Educational Foundation.
