Konda May (Connie) Todt March 29, 1933 - March 26, 2022 Blue Springs, MO. Connie passed quietly in her sleep at the Kansas City Hospice House on the morning of 3/26/22 after a lengthy and hard-fought battle with dementia. Born March 29th, 1933 to Lawrence and Ethel (Hall) Gibbons, she was a life long resident of Blue Springs, MO. A long time member of UFCW Local 576, she worked at numerous grocery stores in the area before retiring in 1995. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her cats. Lord…the cats. And she never met a cookie that she didn’t eat. She is survived by her husband Lester Todt, her sons Lawrence Jones (Teresa), Steven Jones (Rebecca) and Gregory Todt. As well as her grandchildren Trent, Tessa, Dustin and Ian. And great grandchildren Kingston, Adele, Miles, Leroy and Margot. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved grandson Tyler Jones, and a whole host of cats and dogs too numerous to name here. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the First Christian Church of Blue Springs, 701 NW 15 St, Blue Springs, MO, on April 6th with visitation from 10am-11am, followed by a short service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Cavanaugh Pet Hospital, 2400 NW South Outer Road, Blue Springs, MO 64015 The family would also like to thank the staff of KC Hospice House for making Connie’s final days, and her journey into her next chapter a comfortable one.
