Carrie Ranae (Puckett) Lowe Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carrie Ranae (Puckett) Lowe passed away at the age of 60 after she lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri. She was born to Gerald and Carol Puckett on May 27th, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri. Carrie was a beautiful, adventurous and free-spirited soul. She was a funny character and had a contagious laugh. She did not mince her words or beat around the bush. You could always count on Carrie to tell you the truth or give her honest opinion, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Carrie battled with drug and alcohol addictions during many periods in her life. She was aware of how they alienated her from her family and fought hard to overcome them. She had a dream of one day being able to share her story in order to help other individuals who shared in similar life struggles. She wanted to use her past experiences to help bring healing and redemption to others. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Neil Puckett and Carol Rozene (Boan) Puckett; sister, Brenda Duffy; and brother, Gerald “Butch” Puckett. She is loved and remembered by her children; Joshua Ladd, Shanna (Ladd) Kimmel, Nola (Ladd) Olsen, and Jessica Sloan; grandchildren, Alex, Marcus, Vincent, Leighton, Avery, Trey, Alaina, Marcus, Aubrielle, Kaiden, Brylee, and Jacob; brothers, Kenneth Puckett and Charles Puckett; along with a host of other family and close friends. A memorial service will be held at 5:00p.m. on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at Susquehanna Assembly of God in Independence, Missouri. Flowers are welcome, but the family asks you to consider making a donation in her honor to Free Hot Soup (Kansas City), Care Beyond the Boulevard, Kansas City Heroes, or some other local non-profit organization that loves and helps the houseless community.
