Carolyn Sue Simons, 70, North Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her home. Carolyn was born on December 4, 1950 in Independence, MO. She was a housekeeper most of her life, but the last 6 years she worked as a laundry attendant at a laundromat. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Velma Pyle; husband, George N. Simons, Sr; son George N. Simons, Jr and two sisters, Kay Skinner and Peggy Ausmus. Her survivors include two daughters, Sheila Price and Sonya Ware; one son, Melvin (Wayne) Simons, all of North Kansas City, MO. A memorial will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021 (her birthday) at the South Liberty Baptist Church, 650 Ruth Ewing Road Liberty, MO 64068. Dinner will follow in the basement.
