Alison Schuler

September 10, 1962 - April 7, 2019

Alison Schuler was born in Kansas City, Mo on September 10, 1962, she passed away April 7, 2019 in Liberty, Mo after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. During Alison's high school years she was a cheerleader, played in the band all 4 years, and was one of the captains of her cheerleading squad. Alison graduated from Hardin-central high school with honors and the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1983. She was a flight attendant for American Airlines for 29 years. She met her husband Craig in Kansas City in 1986, and they were happily married for nearly 30 years. Alison loved traveling and has friends all over the world. She enjoyed music and attending concerts, she played 6 different instruments and was particularly good at the piano. She loved 80's rock music and was a Bon Jovi fanatic. She adored being a football coach’s wife and always viewed the players, other coach's and their families as her own. She is survived by two daughters, Katie (Ben) Crowder and Nikki Schuler; one grandson, Jackson Crowder; two brothers Steve (Pam) Hertzig and Myke (Brittany) Judy; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alison was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Schuler. and her parents, Lex and Joanne Hertzig. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to the American Cancer society. Celebration of Life will be held at The Everly in downtown (210 W 19 Terrace Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64108) on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2:30-5:30 PM.
