Joshua James Stump, 38, of Kansas City, Kansas, has joined other loved one and friends in heaven on September 12th, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1984, to Jim and Linn Stump. Josh, a loving son, husband and Devoted dad, is survived by his parents, Jim and Linn Stump, wife Christina Stump, children Connor, Lexi, Destiny, Devin and Deytin and Amber mother of his children. More Aunts, Uncles and cousins than you can count. He was born in Durango Colorado, where he spent most of his young life enjoying hiking, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Eager to make his own money Josh, never happened upon anything he could not do from mechanics, construction to stringing lights in trees. He could do anything. No matter what you asked of him, “sure I will”, with that Joshy smile, was always the answer. Josh wanted a fresh start with his family so he packed up and moved to Missouri. Even there he never met a stranger and picked right up doing what he did best, everything. People discovered his many talents and he was always busy helping someone. Day or night. He was the guy you called. He adored, which doesn’t say it well, his children. They were his existence for breathing. From playing games, Fortnight with Connor, getting nails painted by Lexi, or chasing them with the vacuum, they were his world. His focus was always with his kids, to provide the best of everything he could for his children. Which was obvious to anyone who witnessed him with them. He married Christina in 2021. They were working on starting a new life and growing their family of 5 children. His new family, called him Dad. That tells you what kind of guy he was. His family is having a gathering from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday the 23rd of September 2023 at the home of his Aunt Regina Schneider and cousin Jacob Glenn where he spent so much time in the garden.
