Jennifer Leigh Murray January 24, 1970 – October 31,2019 Jennifer Murray 49 of Raytown, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in North Kansas City, Missouri. Services will be on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church. Visitation will be at 9am and a mass will follow at 10am. There will be a brief reception following the mass at 11am in the gathering hall next to the Sorrows Church. Jennifer was born on January 24, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Jimmie and Kathy (Sampson) Randolph. Jennifer lived her entire life in and around the greater Kansas City area. She spent the last 8 years residing in Raytown, Missouri with her loving husband Dr. Thomas Murray. Dr. Murray and Jennifer were married for 6 years. Jennifer was a graduate of Oak Park High School class of 1988. After high school, Jennifer attended UMKC where she studied to be a dental assistant. Jennifer was an active member of the Delta Zeta sorority while she attended UMKC. Jennifer worked the majority of her years in the medical field. Jennifer spent her time handling everything from office manager, billing and coding, and scheduling for patient care. However, her best time was spent while she was able to work alongside her husband Dr. Murray. Jennifer loved being involved with various and different organizations. Jennifer was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary in Independence, MO. Jennifer was both a supporter and donor to the Veterans Community project of Kansas City. Jennifer was a two time survivor of pancreatic cancer. One of Jennifer’s favorite affiliations was her being a member of friends of the Kansas City Zoo. Jennifer and Dr. Murray spent many Sundays at the Kansas City Zoo. One of their favorite things to do was to visit the sea otters. Jennifer was also a lover of all things Mickey Mouse and Disney. She was also a devoted Aunt to her nieces Ella, Olivia, and Maryn. Jennifer loved being able to attend anything they were involved in from volleyball, cheer, and soccer. Jennifer always loved being surrounded by family regardless of the event or circumstance. Survivors include: her husband Dr. Thomas Murray of Raytown, Missouri; her parents Jimmie and Kathy Randolph of Kansas City, Missouri; her brother Jeffrey (Angela) Randolph of Jefferson City, Missouri. Her nieces Ella, Olivia, and Maryn Randolph all of Jefferson City, Missouri.
