Graeme Elliott Bosson Gibson Born in Detroit, MI, May 29, 1951 – Died Aug. 7, 2014 in Independence, MO. Survived by his wife Gail Simmons, daughter Audra Gibson of Charleston SC and son Phillip Gibson of Boulder CO. His Vero Beach, FL surviving relatives include two brothers Randy Gibson & Jay Gibson, along with his father James E. Gibson. Graeme was very well known and respected in the technical community of the K.C., MO area. He was founder of Computers & Tele-Comm, Inc., a wireless internet service provider and data storage company started in 2000, which was purchased by ICEWeb in October 2013. He was truly a “Technical Wizard” and was able to communicate his intelligence and understanding of technology brilliantly through TV and publication, as well as one on one meetings with individuals. He was passionate about technology and sharing it. HE loved to know he was linking people through the internet. He was an educator and facilitated many young men into a career of technology. He was founder of Computer Training Corporation; and throughout the early 1980’s through the 1990’s his company trained and graduated students in building, repairing, and the use of computers. Graeme also worked for Flight Safety in Vero Beach, FL; where he trained pilots from around the world. He also enjoyed aviation and had several personal airplanes. Among Graeme’s many interests were theater, stage lighting, and acting. He became an award winning director and was also awarded the “show-must-go-on” award, which he was quite proud to have. The very start of his career, he was a radio announcer, where he learned radio wave technology. He put that knowledge into building a city wide wireless internet network in the Kansas City area. He said once “I have lived 20 years in Michigan, 20 years in Florida, now let’s see what 20 years in Missouri brings”. Surely he did live those 20 years in Missouri shedding great light on all around him. He moved to Missouri to answer the “inner” call to discover the Unity thought at Unity Village. He is not a member of a church but his affiliation is with the Unity movement. He will be missed. Donations can be made to Silent Unity Prayer Ministry in his name.
