Hi! I’m Danny Sinner “But I try not to be!” It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Danny Sinner, who valiantly battled cancer but, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, he peacefully left this world. Danny was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many and will be profoundly missed. Born on December 2, 1956, in Covina, California, Danny led a life filled with love, passion, and a commitment to excellence. He is survived by his devoted wife, Katrina, his son, Danny Junior, his daughter, Valerie, as well as his stepchildren, Jacob, Kelsi, and Kasanna; sister Crystal Bergener. In addition, he leaves behind cherished memories of his sister, Sharon, and his brothers, Randy and Dennis. Danny's 47-year career as a truck driver was not just a profession; it was a testament to his dedication and skill. He took immense pride in having driven millions of miles without a single accident, a remarkable achievement that underscored his unwavering commitment to safety. At the young age of 17, Danny volunteered for the Army, bravely venturing to Vietnam to protect and serve his fellow countrymen. He was honored to serve as a red-eye gunner and sniper, demonstrating his bravery and love for his country. Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Danny's heart belonged to his family. He relished spending quality time with his loved ones, often accompanied by a Budweiser and a shot of Patron. His passion for fishing led him to Wilson Lake, where he found solace and joy. While cooking up delicious meals on the grill, he'd groove to Classic Rock 'n Roll, creating memories that will forever resonate with those who knew him. Danny's commitment to providing for his family was unwavering. He found solace in lakeside conversations with God, taking care of his home, and traveling to be with friends and family near and far. His generous spirit and love for those close to him were evident everyday in all he did. To combat the devastating impact of cancer, Danny joined forces with Team Sinner and LLS, dedicating himself to the fight against this relentless disease. His deepest desire was to eradicate cancer, especially for the sake of children who suffer from it. Danny's love, warmth, and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and courage. Danny Sinner will always be remembered and cherished for the incredible person he was and the positive impact he made in our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 6pm at Chets place at Waudbys, 715 N.
