Carol Ann Brandt

Carol Ann, 63, went to heaven on Sunday, July 12, 2020. She passed of heart complications at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Carol was born on September 27, 1956 to Paul Micheal Brandt and Donna Lee Brandt in El Monte, California. After her father's passing at age 8, she and her mother Donna traveled a lot for work and she lived most of her younger life traveling where she eventually landed in Granger, Iowa and the surrounding area. She met and married Raymond M. Page, with whom she had 3 children. Paul Micheal, Goenisha Mari Maree and David Mathew. When she was younger, Carol was an EMT for the Granger Fire Department. She also worked for the Granger manor nursing home and was a homemaker. She moved to Sioux City, Iowa where she attended college to get her degree in architectural engineering. She eventually moved to Wheatland, MO area to be with her mother and later moved to the Kansas City area to be near her children. This is where she met her boyfriend Richard and they ensued a relationship until her passing. In her free time Carol had a great love for her grandkids, music, reading, sewing, learning new things and nature. She spent much of her life ensuring the people around her had someone to talk to and rely on. She was a mother to everyone she met and a Grammy to all kids. Carol was a very selfless woman and a very good friend. She would give whatever she had to ensure that people never went without. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a way of bringing a smile to everyone's face that she met. She was a one of a kind woman and never left a place without being remembered. Whether it be her infectious laugh, or her driving skills she definitely left a lasting impression. She was a very kind and generous soul who was a loyal friend to everyone she met. She was a mother, friend, grandmother and aunt. She lived a full life of adventures to say the least. Carol is survived by her 3 children, Paul Page (Stephanie Page), Nisha Henry (Bob Henry) and David Page; 10 grandchildren, Rebekah, Spencer, Courtney, Dallas, Madison, Lucas, Abbigail, Mavrick, Jacob and Charlotte; 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father Paul M. Brandt, her mother Donna L. Brandt, her grandmother Elma Schmidt, her grandfather Samuel Schmidt and her brother Samuel Schmidt, Jr. She will forever be missed by many and be in our hearts always! She will never be forgotten for all the love and laughter that she brought into our lives and will live on through her children and grandchildren.
